The Teacher Behind the Blueprint
I’ve spent the past 20 years in the classroom, helping more than 1,200 students find their voice and tell their stories. Along the way, I noticed a recurring challenge. Students become highly skilled at academic writing but few are ever taught how to write about themselves using both storytelling and reflection.
Yet when college application season arrives, that's exactly what's required. Students are expected to tell meaningful personal stories, reflect on their experiences, and communicate who they are as people. This gap often leads to unnecessary stress, uncertainty, and conflict at home.
That’s why I created The College Essay Blueprint.
I’ve taken two decades of classroom-tested pedagogy and translated it into a structured, results-driven step-by-step college essay support system for the Common App essay. My goal is simple: replace guesswork with a clear path to an essay that is authentic, complete, and genuinely reflects the student behind the application.
