I’ve spent the past 20 years in the classroom, helping more than 1,200 students find their voice and tell their stories.
In that time, I’ve evaluated over 6,000 academic essays. That experience revealed a glaring problem in the college application process: students are trained to write high-level literary analysis, but they aren't taught the art of personal, reflective storytelling.
This gap often leads to unnecessary friction at home: the blank pages, the late-night stress, and the fear that a student’s true potential isn’t making it onto the page.
That’s why I built The College Essay Blueprint.
I’ve taken two decades of classroom-tested pedagogy and translated it into a structured, results-driven system for the Common App essay. My goal is simple: to replace guesswork with a clear, proven path to an essay that is authentic, complete, and stands out.
